Charlie and chocolate factory reflection

In this trimester our ESL class read book call 'Charlie and the chocolate factory’. Its main story was one poor child called Charlie get the one of the most precious called Mr. Wonka’s golden ticket, and it made by Mr.Wonka. Mr. Wonka is chairman of the biggest chocolate factory. He invented many chocolate and candy, also he made some numerous gum or other inventions. Except Charlie their have 4 more children, and their name is Violet, Veruca, Mike and Augustus. Also, those of 4 guys are all spoiled and naughty. Therefore, in Mr.Wonka’s factory, and each of them got problems. However, Charlie became chairman of Factory.

After read this story, I thought author is really creative and have really great ideas. This is because, most of stories are start at city, country side and ETC. However, he started story at chocolate factory. Also in the factory, I can imagine and I think many things. Those of reasons I thought Charlie and the chocolate factory was great book.

3. Who is secret worker and what they look like?

My myth retell written story~!

When I write this long Prometheus story, I was always thinking about ' what is great picture for this sentence or paragraph?'. Therefore when I was attaching or including picture, it was more easier than other times. Because of that reason, my bet SLR from this story was 'Thinking Creatively'. When I see some parts of my story I proud myself and I have 2 proud things. First its specific writing, like clear. Second I proud of my enough writing. Next time, when I do again this project, I will read story again and again, and then i will start my writing.

All of writings have some challenging part, in this project most challenging thing was the 'became someone and tell story to other' it means that I need to became some other character. For example, I should became Hercules and telling story to you.

'Mysteries of Harris Burdick' story from InSung!

In a Halloween season in 1900s at Minnesota, U.S.A, a maid found a great pumpkin for the making special pumpkin pie. She brought pumpkin to kitchen and ready for the making pumpkin pie. First, she got big spoon for the pumpkin’s seeds, second she got roller and big bowl. Last, she got sharp knife for cutting the pumpkin. She thought ‘All things were ready!’, and she got a sharp knife and get close to pumpkin. Suddenly, the kitchen’s light was gone and she surprised, when she was left in the dark kitchen, in spite of darkness she kept on her job of cutting the pumpkin with knife. When she lowered the knife in to the pumpkin, the pumpkin was getting brighter and brighter. However, she couldn’t stop cutting the pumpkin for the curiosity, finally she cut the edge of the pumpkin and the pumpkin got back to normal condition without light. Few seconds later, the kitchen’s light came on again, and she saw some tiny little aliens in the pumpkin!

why writing?

People’s why writing!? Today I want figureabout that big~~ problem.

In modern and ancient civilization need more information about anything.
Therefore they are making and inventing special stuffs. When they done that invention, they got special skills. However, they couldn’t remember all of it, so they make there own character to writing. Also that character needs to write and record, because they can forget about it. For example, when they invent new recipe, they need to record and write about that recipe. In conclusion, writing is meaning that, record and save data. Therefore we know, why people writing.

My SLR progress today

In ESL class we need to do many thing. For example, reading book, write essay and ETC. However, one of the important thing in ESL class is using the ‘SLR’.

My not good SLR is ‘reason critically. Because when I say or write something, I am not forgotten about the example. In this case, I am using ‘for example’ or ‘like’, but sometimes I am using so many like or for example. Because I am nervous, when I nervous my brain cannot remember about what I am talking about. Therefore I am just saying my own memories. Next time, I’ll not nervous when I present something.

My good SLR is ‘communicate effectively’. In class I am talking and spoke about helpful things like, someone don’t know how to spell something, I help them very kindly (?). Also I am thankful to Billy. Because he helped Nam hoon in class, but they spoke so many Korean. Therefore I am worry about it.

Hope: Hope is only left in box but later it’s coming out from the box
Tragedy: After Pandora open the box, tragedy came to the human
Secret: Every god know the inside of box, but Pandora didn’t know what is in the box
Gift: the name of Pandora means “all“s gift
Box: the box which Zeus gave Pandora was the secret of Zeus
Awful things: after Pandora opend the box, all the awful things came out from the box
Surprise: when Zeus gave the box to Pandora, he knew that Pandora likes the surprise every momemt
Curiosity: Pandora’s curiosity made her open the box
Sorrow: one of the biggest awful thing is sorrow
Envy: Envy is the one thing that took hold of Pandora and tried to tear her

Bookreport reflection

I chose the business card, but I think it was not that good choice. This is because; I can show just 1 character in that story.
I think my book is for the child like the show there brave or they can do anything.
At the next book report, I want to choose some horror story, because now is summer!
I think I didn’t do very well. Because I was nervous and embarrassing very much, when I was when I was introduce my book report.
I think I used the respect the other I told you sometimes I disrespect other. For example, using Korean word is annoying Ken and Ms. Gonnerman. Therefore, I feel sorry for the two people. Sorry~!~~


Hello! we had long~ long~ weekend. However, tomorrow we will go to the school.......-_-;;;;
But, I like school more than other places!

My own memories

Today I want to talk about 2 things about my memories.

First of all, I want talk about,' something as precious as gold...'
I have so many precious as gold stuffs, like PSP, IPod touch, WII ETC.
However, I think my most precious as gold thing is my Bomber man T-shirt.
Just 1 month ago, it's my brother's cloth, but when he goes back to Korea, he gave that T-shirt to me.
When I got that I was very happy.
Therefore, I wore that T-shirt and go to Airport, when my brother get in to the stage I cried at there.

Second, I want to talk about “Something from long ago...”
It occurred at 7 years ago, when I was 6 years old I visited Malaysia. At that time I was go to the Strawberry kinder garden.
I could not remember that well, so my mom told me I was very little and funny. However, I can remember I don’t like Strawberry kinder garden’s lunch. It was Broccoli fried rice. My other friends are like it very much, but when I smelled it, I feel like disgusting. Also it’s my one of the most funny story. Because I was very strange.

There was an old man who watched heaven and star closely. One night he noticed that one of the star was missing.

At that time an orphan boy, named Kileken visited the old man, and they were companion each other. The boy Kileken, was very diligent, get up early, helped the old man on house works and taking care of cattle very well, so the old man asked boy “ How it worked with taking care of cattle well?”the boy answered “ it is secret, and if you know my secret, the secret will be the end of your good fortune. However, the old followed silently the boy, and finally the old man saw and know that the boy had majestic power, but the boy also saw the old man. At the same time the old man lost everything. Also the boy, Kileken, was the lost star, the planet Venus.

My Name

About my name

1. My first name is In-sung. First of all, “In” has a several important meaning. “In” is spelled like “仁” by Chinese character, and “In” means generosity and greatness. Second is “sung”, also it has important meaning. “Sung” can be spelled like”盛” by Chinese character. “Sung” means prosperity and abundance. So “In-Sung” means ‘great prosperity and generosity toward people’.


2. When I was born my father thought much to name his second son, me. Also my brother’s name is “YOU-SUNG. So my father thought several names such as “In-sung”, Min-Sung” ETC. After thinking so much, my father visited a professional person who name others, and we talked with him about my name. At last, he decided my name “In-Sung”.

3. Advantage of my name
My name is easy to call and remember for my friends. “IN SING” has its own meaning in English. “In” means inside and on my part, “Sung” means past form of sing. Therefore, in western world, my name “in sung” can be named easily and proudly.

Disadvantage of my name
In Korea, very famous actor “In Sung Cho” is disadvantage to me. Because my friends are tease me. For example, “You are not same as him In Sung”. Also, I feel did not good, but I think it was just a joke.

4. Being teased about my name, my friends were teasing me by calling my name as other famous actor. However, I think the biggest teasing is my name’s meaning. Because, in Korea ‘In Sung’(인성) is the word, and it mean “respect other person”. Therefore, many Koreans are using that word. For examples it is, the NEWS, Magazine or newspaper.

5. I like my name because my name has very important meaning, and everyone can use my name to fun Ha ha. Therefore my friends are like my name. Also sometimes I am proud of my name, because it is funny.

my Goals!

My goal in ESL class is improving my ability and English.
First, I’d like to enlarge my English vocabulary with idiom.
Vocabulary can be the most important weapon in the English battle field.
My vocabulary is still not enough to write and speak English well.
I will set up my goal to build up English vocabulary such as 15 new words or idiom in a one day. In conclusion I will check my vocabulary building day by day.

And 3goals for outside of school

-Practice hard playing the guitar
-Have lots of opportunity to travel Malaysia's tour places
-I'd like to be a good tennis player in a year
