Learning Profile

2weeks ago, in humanities class, we discussed about what is our learning profile. First time, when I heard about ‘Learning profile’ I thought it would be very boring and sleepy. However, it wasn’t boring as I thought, it was interesting! Maybe it was because of our teachers’ great effort to engage us to ‘Learning profile’ program. It was not only funny and interesting, but also important to us, giving great information about ‘how to study’.
The identification of individual’s ‘Learning profile’ gives enormous helps to their own decision making related to studying. There are diverse “learning profiles’ which is distinguished by individuals, and myself was indentified as ‘profile D’. Profile D is a very unique profile, compare to other profiles. This is because, while I was testing what I profile I was, I found that most of my friends have similarities between their body parts. For example, one of my friend has had a profile K, and he’s ear, hand and foot is all right side. However, Profile D doesn’t have many similarities that other profiles have. However, Mr. Whiting told us that, because our learning profile is strange, it doesn’t mean its wrong, it can be more special and unique.
The advantage of Profile D is that, they are learning easily, when they educated by visualized things. As a result, compare to other subject, they are better than art or digital classes. If, visualized person learn some subject by only reading or writing, their grade will going to keep decrease. Therefore, I planned to learn some subjects by visuals.
